I realized that Changi Airport is freezing in the wee hours of the morning....

Bangkok -Why it rocked...
1) The shopping as usual...we shopped at several places...here are examples

Siam Paragon

The newest and largest mall in South East Asia...opened just one week before we arrived...very cool and beautiful//but definitely not for the cpnn...as the name resounds...Paragon...aka expensive....

But I must admit, the furnishing of the shopping centre was drool worthy...

BoBae Wholesale Market

The wholesale market for jeans, children;s clothing however there are several other shops selling cheap stuff as well...

Chatuchak Market

Totally rocks..! Lots of cheap stuff including my first pair of levi's jeans ( fine i like to deceive myself?) not to mention and interesting shopping experience getting lost in the maze of shops...comparing bugis street to chatuchak, the former is definitely child's play...oh..just beware of the second hand stuff...

MBK centre

like any other Singaporean, we had to stop by the famed MBK centre, just for the cheap thrills...after seven trips to Bangkok, MBK is getting BORING..!

Other places that rocked include Siam Square and Big C as well as Suan Lum Night Market..unfortunately..no pics..

2) The food...

Seefah-Gosh..Im salivating just think of it...yum...Totally affordable and absolutely yummylious. Highly recommended..!

......I just had like ten orgasms (the only word able to adequately describe the sense of euphoria) simply thinking about the food....Total bill: SGD 24...

For more cpnn taste buds / light- night snack...

Delicious bbq treats that the locals eat...

Total bill: SGD 3....Btw i realized that the Thais do resemble the Russians...they love to take things to the extremes...when the say spicy, the really do mean SPICY...i learnt the hard way...( dry and cracked lips...)

3) Interesting Experiences...

Know what this is...? Make a guess..?

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Its a condom dispenser..! Goodness Gracious...unimaginable right..? In the toilet lehs...what about the young innocent kids thinking that its sweets or something..? Well at least i guess that next time we if we plan to buy a condom for a friends birthday, there would be no more awkward stares from the sales assistances... if only such a contraption would be brought to Singapore...but then again..maybe pre-martial sex would rise with such easy access to protection huhs..? Okae...way too much...im digressing...

Beautiful Decor

creative Creative Creative...not to mention beautiful...

A Goodbye..A Shift..and A Trip...

How extremely exciting...! Two more hours and i would be on board the plane..and another two more hours after that..I can finally start my shopping...! In bangkok...whhooo high....

This morning at 4am...i went to Changi Airport to send off my cousin..she's migrating to Australia...and since we are both only child's i guessed that in a strange sort of way...we almost began to treat each other like siblings...It wasn't exactly a tearful goodbye...In fact only 1/3 ( there were only 9 people there) began to shed tears...both the grandmothers and my aunt.I would discount my mum as one of the people that shed tears.

Cousins....( The one that migrated is the one seated next to me...)...And thus..with her departure..she has left me with all the young ones...i Cant imagine family gatherings from now one...GOSh...Screams and running around...Goodness Gracious...

Opps..my mum is nagging at me to go get changed to go to the airport...guess there will be more when I return..I dread the though of having to spend two hours in the plane without any food or drink or television to speak of...and whats worst is that it is free seating..and knowing Singaporeans...I don't think its going to be pretty...Stupid budget airlines...Oh Gosh...Excess bagage...

A picture post ...its best to let the pictures do the talking.

1) Prom- 29 Dec 2005 @ the Hilton hotel...the day that i forgot to bring my ticket to enter the prom and seemingly felt like one of the shortest guys on earth...Not to mention the night was rather boring and the food was bland...the only up side was probably the photo taking...
