Yes, i'm updating my blog now, After some 'encouragement' from the person who knows who she is, and thus i have decided to hahax. Let me start by saying that i'm was surprised just know when i went to get dinner from the nearby coffee shop. Clad in a simple tee shirt and short shorts, went i reached the coffee shop, i was shocked at how supposedly undressed i was. There were at least half of the people there ( vendors aside) that were actually dressed up. And, whats more surprising is that people actually go for dinner dates there. Something quite new to me la, but it maybe quite good a change, at least the stereotypical idea of going to expensive restaurants / mid ranged places down town where you have to dress up and stuff. It's actually some much cooler to simply have dinner on a kopitiam la. Despite the heat and everything, bit what the heck, its not often anyways, so interesting idea lo.
Next on, I'm quite glad that i'll finally be able to go shopping tml! Yea! Okae even though its quite lame that i'll be going to shop at a popular sale for stationary and other stuff, but, the whole idea of being able to shop at a SALE is wonderful! Not to mention exciting. Yes, though its not exactly bagful of clothes and shoes, but, it would still remind me of the wonderful shopping experience that i had last year at queensway. Hahax. yes, there will be no more shopping enjoyment for the rest of this year during arise and build season, i shall sacrifice my shopping and material possessions for more eternal things and building god a great house! And since my trip to popular tml to buy supplies is mum supplied finances, i can let the cpnn shopaholic in me loss. Partially at least, hahahax.
I was watching 'Bring it on' just now. It was VERY bimbotic la. Very. I was still expecting something out of that show. Well maybe the only thing that i have gained is that Kirsten Dunst looked better in that show that spiderman. Contrary to what Iren used to profess, i am not a bimbo.! Im more of a bannana. Yellow on the outside, white on the inside.
A thought: As i was walking home form buying dinner, I walked past the basketball court in the park and began to wonder exactly when did basketball catch on amongst all the teens. I believe that the whole basketball saga began with the show MVP Qing Ren, that cheena stereotypical Taiwanese love story+basketball. And look how much impact it has caused. So i began to wonder, how exactly powerful the media is, why not capitalize it to our advantage and use it as an evangelism tool more effectively.? So cool right.? Imagine watching a TV program that convicts you of your sins and den leads you to Christ cool lo.
