I was just thinking that such a scene would never be repeated here on local shores. Seriously, can you imagine partying in the streets by Singaporeans.? I honestly cant. Look at the millennium celebration, I do believe that the large majority of them were just show-watchers. And of course, the whole spirit of partying is just dead in Singapore. Maybe its because since young, much of the Asian culture has been suppressing any unhappiness and not allowing us to express much of ourselves ( like whatever).
